One of the most common problems we face among ourselves is financial, such as high credit debts and negative savings. This brings us back to the conscious financial decisions that we’re making. Here in Indonesia, the financial literacy index is rated low — urging us all to realise how important financial literacy education is. But did you know that it is at the range of 6–8 years old that our financial behaviours start to develop and take shape?

This is where Beruang comes in as a financial literacy board game designed for young kids to learn the values of money and its concept: earning, saving, spending, and sharing.

Being a rather complex and boring material to be learned, the game aims to turn it into something fun and interesting for kids to learn optimally with the concept of learning through play — implementing a friendly, appealing method and visual approach.
